We offer 3 levels of tea tasting for a smooth entry into the world of tea:

I. ”I don't know much about Tea”

The teas that will be used for the tasting: White Tea Nepal and Black Tea Nepal 2019

If you do not differentiate between tea and herbal infusion and you think black and white tea are different plants, this tea tasting will surpass your expectations ; )

We'll suggest tasting a few brews of our white and black tea, made using the Hong Fu Cha model, so you can literally taste the difference. We will talk about the amazing qualities of the tea plant Camellia sinensis, which are the reasons behind how this plant conquered the world and what distinguishes white from black tea. Then we will dive deep into short, sequential infusions with the two types of tea to explore together their entire profile of delicate flavours and aromas.

During this specific tasting event we will "enlighten you" with the following 2 types of tea from our selection:

White Tea Nepal

It is always a privilege to enjoy quality white tea - gentle but strong. The delicate tea leaves are dried in a specific way so as to preserve their structure and preserve all their healthy ingredients for a fresh and healthy cup of tea. Our white tea Nepal has a pale yellow infusion and sweet notes typical of white teas, but more intense infusion than fine white teas. This makes it well suited to the world of classic caffeinated herbs, while the senses sharpen enough to capture the more delicate notes.

Black Tea Nepal

If you have tried black tea but it is not your preferred caffeinated drink because it is "too strong" or "bitter", we challenge you to a cup of black tea. Short brews (only 10-15 seconds for the first brew) reveal the wide range of complex flavors and delicate aromas that fresh classic black tea hides. We guarantee you that with each consecutive brew you will rethink your attitude towards black tea as a completely different experience from what you're familiar with - you will have the opportunity to taste 8 consecutive saturated but well balanced and aromatic brews.

II. “black on white about tea”

The teas that will be used for the tasting: White Tea Nepal + White Tea Prakash or Black Tea Nepal + Black Tea Kumari

"Black on White about Tea" is a tasting of two types of tea of the same type - two types of white or two types of black tea. These tea tastings delve deeper into the world of a particular type of tea, where you will feel how the natural factors and the way tea masters handle fresh tea leaves from their picking determine not only the type of tea (white or black), but also the subtle differences between the different types of tea of the same type.

As we talk about the origin, method of production and the specifics of making tea, you will be able to taste fresh Gong Fu Cha infusions from each of the two types of tea and literally taste the subtle differences between 2 black teas, for example. In short, black tea will become as clear as daylight ; )

This tasting can be conducted in one of two ways:

White Tea Nepal + White Tea Prakash

We will taste the two varieties of white tea we offer, talk about how, under the same conditions - the same temperature and brewing time, we can get a completely different tea experience just because of the way the type of tea leaves and the way they are dried after picking. We will go through several consecutive short breaks with each of our two types of 2019 Spring Tea, so you can feel with your senses how a seemingly small detail can have a huge effect on the finished product and its impact on us.

Black Tea Nepal + Black Tea Kumari

Our two types of black tea offer an exceptional opportunity for tea connoisseurs to an insight into the vast world of black teas. Each spring the evergreen tea shrub wakes up for the new season and is showered with fresh petals. Nepal's classic black tea is derived from a few of the larger fresh petals, while only gentle tea tips are used to produce Kumari. Although in both cases the fresh petals undergo the same treatment, the difference in the structure of the leaves, their ingredients and their "ripeness" are the reason for the completely different tea experience.

III. “Lord of the Infusions”

The teas that will be used for the tasting: White Tea Prakash and Black Tea Kumari

This tea tasting is for the connoisseurs of tea, who are not afraid of the word "oxidation", who know the basic types of tea, have tried different varieties of them and are ready to indulge in our finest teas. We can safely say that this is a supreme tea tasting. ; )

White Tea Prakash + Black Tea Kumari

The fresh tea tip that wakes up with the first spring rays is highly appreciated for its delicate tea petals, which are very rich in antioxidants. Usually, the petals are only delicately dried in the sun without undergoing any further processing to turn into white tea and thus be stored in order to preserve as close as possible to their natural ingredients and appearance. This is exactly how our White Tea Prakash was made. Kumari, however, is a black tea made from fine tea tips whose structure is deliberately distorted in its production to blend the ingredients in the leaves and turn them into a rich range of complex flavours and aromas (see Black Tea introduction on our website). On contact with oxygen, the petals acquire a brownish-golden hue, and sweet, almost chocolatey notes are present in the infusion.
